Public activities and visible celebrations of men’s and boy’s commitment and leadership can help stop sexual assault, domestic violence and violence against women before it starts.
You can get started by contacting the Jane Doe Inc. member organization in your area and find out if they are planning an event.
These public events give us opportunities to interrupt the social norms, such as learned behavior about power and control, stereotypes and gender dynamics, which result in violent behaviors including sexual assault and domestic violence.
